Treasurer Report:
- Invoices for membership have been sent and we are collecting membership fees.
- Youth Leadership Program still needs $400.00 for this year’s grant to Leadership Arlington.
- Virginia McGee will be taking over the Treasurer responsibilities and will meet with Karen Albert and the bank to make the transition complete.

Membership:
Pat Kopsel will send information to service organizations that have not been contacted regarding membership. The Arlington County web-site has a list that includes more than we need, but we can get ideas of who to contact and also see what other organizations are out there.

Meeting Location/Time:
We will continue to meet on Fridays at noon at the Sequoia Building (2100 Washington Blvd). The meeting rooms are large and quiet, food is available, parking is free, and once you’ve been here, its easy to get to.
We may on occasion (possibly quarterly) hold an evening meeting to include members who are not able to get away at lunch time.

Garage Sales are beginning again, with the first one on April 2. As always, groups are invited to participate and receive $10.00 per hour for their work.

They’ll announce their Outstanding Citizen Award – schools nominate students for this award and they are honored at a banquet in the Spring.
Zonta:
7th Annual Wine Seminar is on Saturday, April 2, 2011
3:30 – 6:00, tickets are $50.00, location is the Women in Military Service for America Memorial at Arlington Cemetery. Wine suggested by Schneider’s of Capitol Hill.
Zonta gives a scholarship to a Marymount Nursing Student each year. They also donated materials to Project Peace, which is an abusive relationship prevention program.
Arlington South Lions:
Participating in Tsunami relief programs.
Setting up the Site Hearing Vans
Holding summer youth camps.
Rotary:
Scholarship for an Arlington Student to be awarded in May.
